The Manx Festival Chorus celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and will perform the Messiah at Saint Matthew’s on Saturday 29th November beginning at 7p.m. Tickets £8.
The Mothers’ Union will meet on Monday 10th November at 2.30p.m. The speaker will be Bridget Moore with a spinning demonstration.

We are grateful to Dick and Anna Horsnell for kindly inviting us to a Bonfire Party at their apartment on Douglas Head on Saturday 1st November. The hope is that we shall enjoy an appropriate Bonfire Night Supper and with a glass of bubbly in hand go up onto their roof terrace to watch the Douglas Corporation Bonfire and firework display. The event will start at 6.30p.m.
Tickets £12 for adults and £6 for children. Proceeds will go towards the restoration of the historic George III Royal Arms from old Saint Matthew’s.
The next Parish Lunch will be held after Mass on Sunday 14th December.
